Nayland with Wissington Conservation Society

Digital Photo Archive

Since the Conservation Society purchased the David May Collection in 2010,  we have been given several photo collections and discs of family archives by old Nayland families and we are very grateful to them.  To celebrate the Society’s 40th Anniversary, we have decided to bring all the various topics together in an historic archive which could be viewed via our website and, where possible, via hard copies on display at our open meetings.  These include the collection of Deeds and Indentures kindly donated by Usha Taylor in memory of Keith who acquired this fine collection of documents which are now available to view and copy, although they are not on our website.

We are extremely grateful to Lorraine Brooks who undertook the scanning and captioning of the archive, with Andora’s help, and to Tony Price who created the searchable facility to make it possible.
